Offering software solutions and/or actual physical processing, item processors fulfill a critical outsourcing role for financial institutions. It is a role that is continually evolving as they explore new ways to deliver value added services to their clients.

How it Works

For those performing physical processing, transit items are compared to the National Shared Databases. DEPOSIT CHEK warnings are generated on suspect deposits and forwarded to the item processor who in turn delivers it to affected clients by 8:00 a.m. the next morning, and throughout the day for early return notifications.

For software providers, the service is simply incorporated into existing functionality at the client site.
